Connect claude.ai

This walks you through connecting claude.ai (in the browser) to Logistified, so you can ask Claude questions about your purchase orders, suppliers, and inventory. The Add to Claude button opens claude.ai with the connector already filled in, so all you do there is confirm and paste your connection code. This walkthrough shows the default read-only flow; the scope is chosen when you generate the connection code (see Connect claude.ai or ChatGPT).

Before you start

• AI / Agent access (it’s in open beta, enabled for every store on any plan).
• A claude.ai account that supports adding a custom connector.

Step 1: Generate your connection code in Logistified

In Logistified, generate the one-time code you’ll paste back into claude.ai at the end.

1. Open P&H Cloud Platform (Beta) → LLM / Agent Access.
2. In the Connect a web chat card, click Connect ChatGPT / Claude.
3. Logistified shows the Add to Claude button and a one-time connection code, valid for 10 minutes.

LLM / Agent Access → Connect ChatGPT / Claude generates the one-time code.

Tip

Keep this Logistified tab open; you’ll paste the code in Step 3, and the code expires after 10 minutes.

Step 2: Click Add to Claude

1. Click Add to Claude. claude.ai opens in a new tab with the Add custom connector dialog already filled in: the name Logistified and the URL ending in /mcp-agent. Claude notes that the values came from a link.
2. Check the name and URL.
3. If Claude asks for sign-in settings, choose Sign in now under Authentication and Register automatically under OAuth client. Don’t pick Use Claude’s published identity: Logistified doesn’t support it, and the connection would fail.
4. Click Add.

If you’re signed out of claude.ai, Claude asks you to sign in first and then shows the filled-in dialog.

Step 3: Connect and approve read-only access

1. On the new Logistified connector, click Connect.
2. Claude forwards you to Logistified’s Connect to Logistified screen at https://prod.logistified.app/mcp-agent.
3. Paste the connection code you copied in Step 1 and click Approve read-only access.

Paste the one-time code, then approve read-only access.

Note

Generated a read & write code instead? The same screen shows that scope and the button reads Approve read & write access; what write access covers is described in Operating purchase orders and Operating transfers, stock takes & returns.

Once approved, you’re back in claude.ai and connected. The connector also shows up in the Connected apps table on the LLM / Agent Access page in Logistified.

Add it for your whole Claude organization

On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner can add Logistified once for everyone in the organization:

1. Generate a connection code (Step 1), then click Add for my Claude organization. claude.ai opens your organization’s connector settings with the same name and URL filled in.
2. Check the values, choose the same sign-in settings as in Step 2 if Claude asks for them, and click Add.
3. Everyone in the organization now sees Logistified in their connectors. Each person clicks Connect and approves with their own connection code from Logistified (Step 3).

Note

A connection code works once, so every person who connects needs a fresh code from LLM / Agent Access. Each connection appears separately in the Connected apps table and can be revoked on its own.

Adding it by hand

If you’d rather add the connector yourself, or the button doesn’t open the filled-in dialog:

1. Go to claude.ai/customize/connectors (Customize → Connectors).
2. Click the + icon at the top of the Connectors panel and choose Add custom connector.

Adding it for your whole organization? As an Owner, go to Organization settings → Connectors instead, select Add, then Custom, and choose Web if Claude asks for the connector type.

Connectors → + → Add custom connector.

1. Name: Logistified.
2. URL: the connector URL shown under Using ChatGPT? in Logistified: https://prod.logistified.app/mcp-agent.
3. Leave the Advanced settings (OAuth Client ID / Secret) blank; they aren’t needed. If Claude asks for sign-in settings instead, choose the ones from Step 2.
4. Click Add, then continue with Step 3.

Name the connector and point it at the /mcp-agent URL.

Try it out

Ask Claude something in plain language, such as “Summarise my most recent stock take.” It reads the answer live from your store.

Code expired?

The connection code is single-use and lasts 10 minutes. If Claude says it’s invalid, generate a fresh one; see If the code expires.
