Floormode warehouse execution

If your shop uses Floormode, our companion warehouse app, a transfer order whose source warehouse Floormode runs is picked and dispatched there instead of following the ordinary Shipping & receiving flow. You don’t choose this per order: Send hands it to Floormode by itself. Each dispatch updates this transfer order automatically; physical receipt at the destination is recorded separately. The first dispatch also appears as Departure reported by Floormode on the order’s Activity tab.

Sending a transfer order from a Floormode warehouse

Section titled “Sending a transfer order from a Floormode warehouse”

Create and plan the transfer in Logistified as usual. On its Order & Items tab, a Warehouse picking in Floormode panel says what Send will do: “Floormode runs the source warehouse. When you mark this transfer as sent, it goes to Floormode for picking; it is marked as sent when Floormode ships it.”

When you mark the Draft transfer as Sent, Logistified hands it to Floormode instead:

  • the confirmation reads “Sent to Floormode for picking. Floormode runs the source warehouse; this transfer is marked as sent when Floormode ships it.”;
  • the transfer stays a Draft for now, and no stock moves in Logistified or Shopify at that moment;
  • once Floormode ships it, the transfer becomes Sent and the shipped quantities appear here.

Open transfers in Floormode opens Floormode’s transfers list, where you can find the order. Send via Email isn’t available for such a transfer before Floormode ships it: “Floormode runs this transfer’s source warehouse, so it is picked there. Use Send to hand it to Floormode; email the transfer once Floormode ships it.”

Only the first Send of a Draft hands a transfer to Floormode. Resuming a transfer from On Hold, or moving one back to Sent, keeps the path it already took.

If Floormode runs the source warehouse but can’t take this particular transfer, Send is refused with the reason, and nothing is sent or moved. Where Logistified can tell in advance, the panel already shows the reason. The common ones:

You seeWhat to do
”Floormode runs this warehouse, but its connection doesn’t confirm transfer picking yet. Open Settings → Integrations and confirm the connection again.”Open Settings → Integrations, check readiness on the Floormode card and activate the agreement again, then send the transfer.
”Floormode cannot execute transfers of Assemblified sub-assemblies yet.”Remove the Assemblified sub-assembly lines (SKU starting with ASM-), or move them from a warehouse Logistified runs. See Sub-assemblies from Assemblified.
”Floormode keeps its own materials and moves them between its warehouses itself. Remove the Floormode material from this transfer order.”Remove the Floormode material line; move it in Floormode instead.
”This transfer has prior inventory progress and cannot be enrolled as a fresh physical transfer.”Something was already sent or received on this transfer here. Create a new transfer for what’s left.
A destination Floormode can’t send toFloormode sends a transfer only to a warehouse it runs, or to one the receiving agreement names as Logistified’s (and only once Floormode confirms receipts there). The message says which applies; change the destination, or confirm the agreement again under Settings → Integrations.

The panel’s message tells you where the plan stands:

StatusWhat it means
Waiting for confirmationFloormode hasn’t acknowledged the plan yet. Sending the request doesn’t mark goods as dispatched; source inventory remains protected.
AcceptedFloormode confirmed the plan. Its warehouse team can now pick and dispatch; each shipment updates this transfer order automatically.
Not acceptedFloormode rejected the plan and reports the reason. Fix the issue, then send it again.
  • Retry delivery: if Floormode hasn’t confirmed the plan yet, send the same plan again.
  • Retry source publication: once Floormode has accepted the plan, Logistified may still be catching up on confirming shipments or updating the origin side. The panel shows how many of those updates are pending, refused, or expired, and lets you retry the ones still eligible. Refused or expired stock updates are held for verification; this retry does not apply them again. Saved shipment confirmations can still be resent when eligible.
  • Cancel unshipped plan: cancels whatever Floormode hasn’t shipped yet. Anything already dispatched stays in transit; cancelling doesn’t return those goods to source stock or erase their shipment history.

Once Floormode has dispatched at least one shipment, Review shipment receipts opens a dialog listing shipped positions: the item, which shipment and position it belongs to, lot and expiry when tracked, how much was dispatched, and how much is still remaining.

To record a physical receipt:

  1. Check off the positions you’re receiving. You can only select positions from one shipment at a time, and only ones Logistified is responsible for receiving; a position that Floormode itself receives shows a note instead of a checkbox.
  2. Enter the quantity actually received for each checked position, up to what’s remaining.
  3. Confirm the receipt. Your entry is saved before it’s sent, so if confirmation is interrupted (a dropped connection, an accidental reload), reopening the dialog in the same browser, with its saved data intact, picks up the same receipt so you can retry it without recording it twice. Retry it unchanged to resolve the outcome, or use Review quantities to discard it and start over once it’s safe to.

The dialog shows up to 100 positions across the transfer’s shipments and warns when more exist. Positions with quantity still to receive appear first. After a position is fully received and the list refreshes, another outstanding position can become visible. Receive only positions you can identify in the dialog; hidden positions are never selected automatically.

Create and plan the transfer in Logistified; Send hands it over. Once handed over, source picking and dispatch happen in Floormode, and ordinary shipping, splitting, and manual status changes cannot override that execution. Track shipment and receipt progress here, and use the Floormode panel for retries or cancellation. Record destination receipts in Logistified only when it is responsible for receiving; destinations handled by Floormode are received there.

  • Shipping & receiving: the ordinary receive flow used when Floormode isn’t handling a transfer order.
  • Integrations: retained stock reports Floormode last sent, kept visible even after its connection is turned off.
