Products, growth & targets
The Products tab of a sales plan has one row per product. It’s where you adjust a product’s growth, set its total target in units or revenue, and add or remove products. For targets per week or month, use the plan grid.

The Products tab
Section titled “The Products tab”The tab follows the location switcher. At one location, each row is that product at that location. On All locations, each row adds the product up over every location of the plan.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Product | The product and variant. |
| Growth | How much the targets are above or below last year, in percent, for example +20 or −10. On All locations it reads Mixed when the locations have different growth. |
| Last year | Units sold in the same dates one year earlier. ”-” means no sales history there. On All locations, the sum of the locations with history; hover the number to see which locations have none. |
| Target units | The product’s target over the whole plan. |
| Target revenue | The same target in money, in your shop’s currency. |
| Locations | On All locations only: at how many of the plan’s locations the product has a target above 0, for example 3 of 3. Hover it to see where it’s planned and where nothing is. |
Growth, Target units and Target revenue are editable while the plan is Draft or Confirmed. Type a value and press Enter or click away; press Escape to undo what you typed. A comma works as the decimal mark too. Rows with unsaved changes are highlighted, and the changes are held in the save bar at the bottom of the page until you click Save changes. See Saving changes.
Units can have two decimals, because targets are planned day by day. When any product in the column has decimals, the whole column shows two.
The Details card above the table is described on the Sales Plans overview.
How a target is seeded
Section titled “How a target is seeded”When a product joins the plan, its target at each location is seeded from that location’s own sales:
- Each day of the plan takes the same day one year earlier at that location.
- That is multiplied by the product’s growth, so +20% means 1.2 times last year.
- The target keeps last year’s seasonal shape: a busy December last year means a busy December in the plan.
Each day’s target is rounded to two decimal places. “Last year” means the same calendar dates one year back, so a plan for 2027 reads 2026, and leap days are handled as described in Creating a sales plan.
Sales at other locations are never copied over. A product that didn’t sell at a location last year starts at 0 there, and its Last year reads ”-”. Type a target for it yourself.
Changing growth for one product
Section titled “Changing growth for one product”Every product starts with the growth you chose when you created the plan. Products you add later start at 0%. To change one product:
-
Click the product’s Growth field.
-
Type the new growth, for example 30 for +30% or -10 for -10%, and press Enter. The targets change straight away.
-
Click Save changes in the bar at the bottom of the page.
How the change is applied:
- The targets scale with the growth. Going from +20% to +30% multiplies the targets by 1.30 ÷ 1.20. Changes you made by hand in the plan grid keep their proportions, and a revenue you typed scales by the same ratio.
- A target at 0 is seeded again. If the product was at -100%, or its targets were all 0, there’s nothing to scale. Logistified seeds it again from last year’s sales at the new growth. While it loads last year’s sales, the row is locked with a spinner and Save changes waits. A location with no sales last year stays at 0 and a message says so, for example “No sales last year for Mug at Hamburg, so growth wasn’t applied there.”
- On All locations, growth applies to the product at every location. If the locations have different growth, the field reads Mixed.
Growth can be anywhere from -100% to +900%. Outside that range the field says “Growth must be between −100% and +900% (factor 0–10×).” and nothing changes. Between -99% and -100%, only -100% itself is allowed. Growth is shown to one decimal, for example +12.5.
Changing a target directly doesn’t change the growth. A product with no sales last year that is at -100% can’t be grown at all: its Growth reads n/a (“No sales here last year. Type a target instead”).
Changing a target
Section titled “Changing a target”Type a new Target units or Target revenue to set the product’s total over the whole plan. Logistified spreads it over the days the same way as before, so the seasonal shape stays.
On All locations, the total you type is split across the locations in proportion to what each one had. To change one location only, pick it in the location switcher first.
Targets can’t go below 0: a negative number sets the target to 0. A typo of a few extra zeros is caught: “That target is too large (max 1,000,000,000).”
A new Target units total also scales a revenue you typed by hand, by the same ratio as the units.
Revenue
Section titled “Revenue”Target revenue is worked out from the units: target units × the product’s price.
- Which price. The price the product had in Shopify when it was added to the plan at that location. Changing the price in Shopify later doesn’t change the plan’s revenue. A location added to the plan later uses the price of that day, so on All locations each location counts at its own price.
- No price. If the product has no price, its revenue field reads No price and it isn’t counted in revenue totals. You can still type a revenue for it here.
- Rounding. Each total is rounded to the cent once, so 10 units at €885.45 read €8,854.50 however they are spread over the days.
You can also type a revenue yourself, for example when you plan to sell at a discount. The product then keeps your revenue:
- A blue dot in the revenue field marks a revenue you typed. Hover it: “Revenue typed by hand, not units × price. Reset to go back to units × price.” On All locations it reads “Revenue typed by hand at one or more locations”.
- Your revenue is spread over the days the way the old revenue was, so the shape stays.
- It follows the units from then on: a growth change scales it, so does a new Target units total, and a units change in one period of the plan grid scales that period’s revenue.
To go back to units × price, click the reset icon next to the revenue: Reset to derived (units × price). On All locations this resets the revenue at every location. The reset waits in the save bar like any other change.
Analytics compares revenue the same way: see Plan analytics.
Adding products later
Section titled “Adding products later”Click Add products above the table and choose a source: Browse products, Scan barcodes, Upload a spreadsheet, From a forecast view or Virtual materials. They work like in the Create Sales Plan dialog.
- Each new product is added at every location of the plan, seeded from last year’s sales at each location.
- Products added later start at 0% growth. Change their Growth if you want them to grow too.
- A product that’s already in the plan, at any location, is marked Already added and skipped.
Logistified confirms what was added, for example “Added 5 products at 3 locations (15 targets), seeded from last year’s sales”. Products that were already in the plan are counted separately, for example “2 already on the plan (skipped)”. A location that is no longer active in Shopify gets no new products, and a message names it. When a plan gets close to the most products it can hold, a line next to Add products says so, for example “This plan holds 520 of 547 products.” If a pick doesn’t fit, nothing is added and the message says how many products the plan can hold.
For the add-once rule, and how to bring back a product you removed at one location, see Adding products to a plan.
Removing a product
Section titled “Removing a product”Click the bin icon at the end of the row:
- At one location, the product is removed there straight away. It stays in the plan at its other locations.
- On All locations, Logistified asks first: “Remove product from all locations?” Click Remove from 3 locations to remove it everywhere.
Removals are saved immediately; they don’t wait for the save bar. Logistified confirms, for example “Removed 3 location targets”.
Products deleted in Shopify
Section titled “Products deleted in Shopify”When you delete a product in Shopify, the plan keeps the targets it already has, and they still count. It is never planned anywhere new: Add products can’t find it any more (a product deleted while you were picking is reported as not found), and Add location…, Add missing products… and Sync locations skip it. See Adding products to a plan.
Searching the tab
Section titled “Searching the tab”Use Search products or SKUs… above the table to narrow the rows. While you search, the tab shows how many rows match, for example 4 of 120. The × in the box (or Clear search when nothing matches) shows every row again.
