Purchase Order Reports and View Reports have a Preview tab. It renders the email body using sample data so you can validate the layout — which sections are included, how the headings read, whether the table columns look right — before activating.

The Report View Export type has no Preview tab: it emails a CSV attachment of exactly the rows and columns your saved view shows, so the view itself is the preview.

  • It does not pull your live shop data. The numbers, variants, and order IDs shown are placeholder samples.
  • It does not send anything to anyone.
  • It does not appear in the report’s History.

For real content and a real delivery, use Send now.

Send now sends the report immediately, with your live data, independent of the schedule. It’s available two ways: the button at the bottom of the report editor, and the Send now item in the row menu on the Scheduled reports list.

  1. Click Send now. A confirmation dialog opens — “This sends a real email immediately, independent of the schedule.”
  2. Narrow the recipients if you want. The report’s saved recipients are listed with checkboxes; untick anyone who shouldn’t get this particular send. A running count reads “Sending to 2 recipients”.
  3. Add a one-off address in the Also send to field if you’d like a copy to go somewhere that isn’t on the report — a colleague, or yourself. It applies to this send only and isn’t saved to the report.
  4. Click Send now to confirm.

Narrowing recipients here changes nothing permanent — the report’s saved recipient list and its schedule are untouched. A report with no saved recipients can still be sent this way by typing an address into Also send to.

This replaces the old workaround of setting a report to Daily a few minutes ahead just to see one real copy.

Every report has a History tab — “The last runs of this report, scheduled and manual, with their delivery state.”

ColumnWhat it shows
Executed atWhen the run happened.
SourceManual for a Send now, Schedule for a scheduled run.
RecipientsHow many people it went to.
StatusThe delivery state (below).
ErrorWhat went wrong, when something did — including which addresses failed. Otherwise a dash.

Until a report has run at least once the tab reads “No runs yet.”

The Last sent column on the Scheduled reports list shows the same thing in miniature: how long ago the most recent run was and how it was delivered, or Never for a report that has never gone out.

StatusMeaning
PendingThe run has started and the email hasn’t been handed over yet.
SentThe email was accepted for delivery.
DeliveredThe receiving mail server confirmed delivery. This is the one you want.
BouncedThe receiving server rejected it — usually a wrong or closed address. Fix or remove it in Settings → Recipients.
FailedThe run itself couldn’t complete, or at least one address errored. Check the Error column.
