Supported cadences
Section titled “Supported cadences”| Cadence | Example |
|---|---|
| Daily | ”Every day at 08:00.” |
| Weekly | ”Every Tuesday at 09:00.” |
| Bi-weekly | ”Every other Tuesday at 09:00.” |
| Monthly | ”On the 1st of each month at 07:00.” |
Starting weekday (weekly / bi-weekly)
Section titled “Starting weekday (weekly / bi-weekly)”When you pick Weekly or Bi-weekly, a second dropdown appears asking for the Starting Weekday (Sunday through Saturday). It pre-fills with today’s weekday when you switch to a weekly cadence; if no weekday is chosen at all, the day the schedule is activated is used and kept from then on. Bi-weekly reports fire every 14 days on that weekday.
Day of month (monthly)
Section titled “Day of month (monthly)”When you pick Monthly, a Day of Month dropdown appears (1–31). It pre-fills with today’s day when you switch to Monthly; if no day is chosen, the day the schedule is activated is used and kept from then on.
Days 29–31 send on the last day of shorter months — a report set to the 31st arrives on February 28 (or 29), April 30, and so on, instead of skipping those months.
Time-of-day
Section titled “Time-of-day”Pick the hour and minute. Minutes are in 5-minute increments (00, 05, 10, …, 55).
Timezone
Section titled “Timezone”You pick the timezone explicitly — the report is not auto-derived from your Shopify shop’s timezone. The picker offers every named timezone (around 160 entries, including South Africa Standard Time / SAST), and it’s searchable: type a zone name (“Eastern”), an abbreviation (“SAST”), a UTC offset (“+2”), or a city (“Johannesburg”) to find yours.
Editing cadence
Section titled “Editing cadence”Edit any time. The next scheduled run reflects the new cadence.
Missed runs
Section titled “Missed runs”If the system is briefly unavailable at the scheduled time, the schedule catches up as soon as it can — typically within minutes. You’ll get the email a bit late. Schedules are also self-healing: a missed run re-arms itself automatically.
