Recipients
Section titled “Recipients”A list of people who receive a specific report. Each recipientRecipientA person who gets a notification or a report by email. Can be filtered to only receive items matching a specific saved view. Read more → has:
- First Name (required)
- Last Name (required)
- Email (required)
That’s all the contact data Logistified stores per recipient. There is no per-recipient view filter, no active/inactive toggle, and no consent flow — the same payload is sent to every recipient on a report.
Two places to manage them
Section titled “Two places to manage them”| Where | Scope |
|---|---|
| Settings → Recipients | The shared list — everyone Logistified can email, with a Used by column showing which rules and reports each person is on. See Settings → Recipients. |
| Per-report Recipients tab | Just this report’s recipients, ticked from the shared list. |
The shared list is the directory of people Logistified can email, and it’s the same one stock notifications use. Adding someone there doesn’t automatically subscribe them to anything — assignment happens per report, by ticking their box on the report’s Recipients tab. The same person can be assigned to as many reports and rules as you like.
Recipients used to be managed under Reports and again under Notifications. There is now one page, under Settings, and the old links forward to it automatically.
Adding someone without leaving the report
Section titled “Adding someone without leaving the report”If the person you need isn’t in the list, click Add recipient on the report’s Recipients tab. Fill in first name, last name, and email, and they’re created, added to the shared list, and ticked on this report — without losing anything else you’ve typed. The Manage recipients icon beside it opens the full Settings page.
Recipients can also be edited now, so a typo or a changed address is a quick fix rather than a delete-and-re-add that would drop every subscription.
Removing a recipient
Section titled “Removing a recipient”Two ways to stop someone from receiving a report:
- Per report — untick their box on the report’s Recipients tab.
- Globally — delete them in Settings → Recipients. This also removes them from every report and every notification rule they were assigned to; the confirmation tells you how many of each before you commit.
There is no “deactivate” or “pause” state — only add and remove.
Bounced emails
Section titled “Bounced emails”A report’s History tab shows the delivery state of every run, so a bad address shows up as Bounced without you having to check anywhere else. Logistified doesn’t auto-remove bounced recipients — clean them up manually.
No unsubscribe link is rendered in the email. Recipients who want to be removed need to contact you to be taken off the list.
